    Are health conditions involving changes in emotion, mood, thinking or behaviors or a combination of mental illnesses that is associated with distress and or problems functioning in social situations, workplace or family activities. There are many mental health illnesses disorders such as clinical, depression anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD post traumatic stress disorder

  • How can you tell if someone has a mental illness?

    It’s difficult to definitively say without a professional diagnosis. Common signs are changes in mood, behavior patterns, thinking ‘ withdrawal from activities and social interactions. It might include persistent sadness, excessive anxiety, difficulty concentrating, or changes in sleep and

  • How is mental illness treated?

  • The diagnosis of a mental disorder is not the same as a need for treatment. It is based on an individualized plan developed collaboratively with a mental health clinician and an individual and even with a family member if the individual decides to. It may include psychotherapy, talk therapy, medication or alternative therapy treatment.

  • What are common warning signs of mental illness?

    Feeling sad or down, confused thinking or reduced ability to concentrate. Excessive fears or worries, extreme guilt. Mood changes high and low. Withdrawal from friends and activities. Significant tiredness, low energy, problems sleeping. Detachment from reality (delusions), paranoia or hallucinations. Inability to cope with daily problems, task or stressed out from the little things. Unable to establish healthy relationships and unhealthy.

Everyone needs to know the risks of using or misusing opioid drugs. Opioids are a class of drug that includes fentanyl, prescription painkillers and heroin. Heroin is also an opioid drugs. Heroin is illegal. A doctor never prescribes heroin.

Prescriptions opioids are some of the most commonly prescribed drugs. They help ease short-term pain after a surgery, accident or illness. Misuse of opioids is a leading cause of accidental death in the United States.

  • If you suspect someone has overdosed, call 911 right away.

  • Naloxone or Narcan is a medicine that can reverse an opioid overdose.

  • If you have naloxone, adminster according to directions.

  • If someone you know is misusing prescription opioids, fentanyl or heroin, talk to a doctor or pharmacist, or a licensed professional.Ask about having naloxone on hand, just in case. It may save a life.
