We, as grassroots independent advocates, work to improve the lives and wellness of people throughout the year who are affected by mental health issues, condition’s and substance use and dependence issues. Our advocates have lived experience and use their powers to provide information, resources, and support for mental healthcare and to those suffering from drug misuse. But, we cannot achieve our goals alone. It starts with you. It starts by making a decision to seek help, to get treatment and support. Let’s stop the stigma around mental health and substance use now. Get treatment for your condition(s) and/or addictions(s). We advocate to provide a safe place to shop for Mental Health Illnesses and Substance Addiction Treatment Services without shame, and without guilt. We practice confidentiality with the information provided by you. We can provide free brochures , pamphlets, tips, phone numbers, free access to our website so that you can become self-sufficient and get treated for substance abuse that began as your individual choice, addiction itself is a mental disease and mental health disorders you can get help by a doctor and professionals. There is help and recovery for your mental health illnesses conditions and or substance use. We care about your wellbeing and mental health care needs. Reach Out

We are not professionals or doctors but simply independent advocates with lived experiences whose goals are to help improve your life. We are here to Reach Out to those with mental health illnesses and substance addiction. We care about your wellbeing and want to prevent overdose deaths from happening. We have information that can help you find, help, support, and provide resources to support you. There is all types of mental health conditions that you can reach out and get help for. There is all types of substances that you can find help for. Don’t wait. Get information about it immediately. This is your life you are talking about.

  • Substance use. Ingesting, inhaling, injecting, or absorbing alcohol, tobacco products, drugs, and other substances that can cause harmful effects.

  • Substance use disorder. A medical condition characterized by clinically significant impairments in health, social function, and control over substance use. 

  • Suicidal ideation. A range of contemplations, wishes, and preoccupations with death and suicide, also called suicidal thoughts. Most instances do not progress to attempted suicide.

  • Get quality sleep, 7 hours daily. Lack of sleep affects you both mentally and physically. Take care of your health.

  • Manage your stress. Take breaks from news and social media. Give your time and attention to other activities.

  • Self-Care, it involves making time for yourself and engaging in healthy habits that make your body feel healthy.

  • Build social connections. Mood boosting power of quality face-to-face time with people is positive.

  • Seek help when you need it. This may include a professional, a friend, a family member who you trust.

  • Volunteer by participating in the community. Helping others can enrich and expand your life.

  • Do what you love in life. Nourish your brain with exercises, surround yourself with positive energy.

Find out about our mission, methods, and the results of our independent mental health advocacy. We are simply volunteers who want to help people with Mental Health illnesses and Substance Addiction. If you or a loved one is experiencing mental health symptoms or drug addiction, please seek help from a professional physician. Or contact 988. You may reach out to us on how to contact your nearest professionals or for assistance in getting resources and help obtaining information about mental health services or substance use related services.

  • Don’t use alone. If you do use alone, Make sure someone knows where you are and that they can check on you.

  • Take turns using and carry Naloxone just in case. If someone you know is at increased risk for opioid overdose, especially those struggling with opioid use disorder (OUD), you should carry naloxone and keep it at home. Even having someone nearby who carries Narcan can save a life.

  • Use fentanyl test strips when trying to avoid fentanyl in your choice of opioids or choice of addiction.

  • Go slowly and use tester shots. Tolerance can rapidly decrease after periods in the (e.g. after hospital stays or, jail stays.)

  • Do not mix drugs. It can increase the body’s need for oxygen. Any controlled substance mixed with opioids can be deadly.

  • If you’re going to use, do not lock doors, and make sure you have narcan at all times.

  • To be safe, ABSTINENCE from any drugs or alcohol is key. ABSTAIN from the use of any and all opioids, stimulants, hallucinogens, dissociative anesthetics, narcotic analgesics, inhalants, cannabis and more or any and all illegal substances.

  • Prioritize your own perspectives over external opinions.

  • Make sure your decisions are based on your own judgment.

  • Believe in staying true to yourself and your own convictions.

  • Value your own insights above all outside criticism.
